What gaps is COMPACT addressing and how will the COS be used?

To date, paediatric anxiety disorder (AD) research studies measure a wide array of outcomes using a variety of different outcome measurement instruments (OMI). The differences in outcomes being measured and how they are measured makes it so we cannot compare trial results to determine what AD treatments are most effective. The COMPACT initiative will aim to address this gap by developing a list of the most important outcomes that paediatric AD trials must measure. This list will be used by clinicians and researchers when they are testing new interventions and comparing them with existing ones.
