A core outcome set (COS) is a list of the most important outcomes that should be measured and reported, at minimum, in all research studies in a specific area of health. These lists are typically agreed upon by experts in the field to make sure that they represent the priorities of people who are affected by the COS.

The COMPACT Initiative is developing a COS to be used in all clinical treatment studies for paediatric anxiety disorders.
